Contributions to any of the Temple Israel Funds are welcomed and appreciated. Contributing to Temple Funds is a meaningful way to show appreciation or to mark a significant event. As Temple Israel completes its eighth decade it is vital to insure the continuity, growth and vitality of this Congregation. The Temple Israel Endowment Program offers the opportunity to fortify our financial resources for a vibrant future.
ENDOWED FUNDS
General Endowment Fund (proceeds go to help Temple Israel’s operating budget)
Block Family Religious School Fund (proceeds help to underwrite BFRS operations)
Turner Distinguished Scholar Fund (proceeds help pay for visiting scholars and speakers for the purpose of enhancing Temple Israel’s adult education program)
Social Action Endowment Fund (Proceeds help underwrite the costs of social action programming. This fund enables us to engage in tikkun olam)
NON-ENDOWED FUNDS
Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund (enables the Rabbi to enhance Temple programming that benefits the general community, to assist students to attend Jewish camp and other Jewish learning experiences, and to quietly help individuals in need of assistance)
Memorial and Cultural Fund (for the enhancement of congregation cultural activities, the awarding of scholarships, and the maintenance of artifacts)
Capelouto Music Fund (for music, musical programs and related items)
General Operation Fund (funds the operations of Temple Israel)
