Shabbaton
Shabbaton is a full day celebration of Shabbat. We begin with breakfast in the morning and do not end until Havdalah in the evening. In between is a fun day full of activities for members of every age. This year the theme for our Shabbaton is redemption. Adults will be offered a variety of classes covering topics ranging from Judaism and the End of Times, to pilates and cooking. There will be special activities and sessions for families with children, and special activities for our youth group age children as well. Our morning service will be very musical and fun filled, especially because it is "Shabbat Shirah" "The Sabbath of Song" In addition, you will experience a Torah reading and creative presentation like no other as some of our Temple Israel actors present a STorah telling. Of course there will be food, food, and more food. Mark your calendars for this great event.
