Remembrance is a soulful endeavor. It is often a time of mixed emotions. On Yom Kippur during our Yizkor service we remember. May the precious memories of our loved ones help inspire us to live ever more vibrant and meaningful lives.
 

Our “Book of Remembrance” can help us do just that, and we will be rebooting our Book of Remembrance and need every member who wishes names to be included to complete this form and submit payment.
 

We recount their names and their deeds that brought greater light into the world, and if one is able, we offer an honorarium of $36 as a token offering towards building a better world for future generations just as they did for us.
 

At Temple Israel, these double-chai ($36) offerings go the Memorial and Cultural Fund. This helps us honor our loved ones by maintaining our Yahrzeit plaques and supports meaningful events and opportunities for Temple members to connect to our Jewish heritage and culture. Contributions made to the Book of Remembrance are the main source of funding for the Fund’s yearly projects.
 

If you are able, please fulfill an offering of double-chai ($18 for the lives that are and will be). If you are able to contribute more than the suggested amount or would like to underwrite the entire cost of producing the Book of Remembrance, please consider an increased offering.
