Membership Information

If you are looking for a place to learn about, and practice Reform Judaism--a place that has a community of warm, caring, and intellectually-engaged people--you've come to the right place! Temple Israel, this region's largest synagogue and hosts an exciting spectrum of Jewish opportunities.

Temple Israel offers rabbinical services with Rabbi Jack Romberg; High Holy Day services; Torah study; Midweek Minyan on Wednesday mornings; Lunch and Learn on Wednesday afternoons; adult education classes for all learning-levels; adult Hebrew; life cycle events; Sisterhood; Brotherhood; social action and mitzvah activities; Distinguished Visitors Program; Senior Schmooze, and a Jewish gift shop, The Spinning Dreidel.

If you have children, they won't feel left out because Temple Israel has a plethora of educational and entertaining opportunities for them as well: the Block Family Religious School (pre-K through 12th grade); preschool, youth groups, and youth night events, to name a few.

If you'd like to just drop in, we welcome you to join us for services: Friday evening services begin at 7:30 p.m., Saturday services at 10:15 a.m.; and the Midweek Minyan at 7:15 a.m., each Wednesdays.
