Mah Jongg Madness Tournament 2025

Temple Israel, Tallahassee

We will play and celebrate our first annual Temple Israel tournament with a dairy (no meat) buffet lunch, snacks, raffle items, and fun!

There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place tournament winners.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the renovation of the kitchen at Temple Israel.

When:

*Friday, March 7, 2025, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Where:

*Temple Israel’s Diamond Family Social Hall, 2215 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32308

*Parking is available in front of the Temple.

Cost:

*$50 per person.

*Bring cash, check or credit card if you wish to purchase raffle tickets so that you can compete for wonderful prizes.

Non-tournament players:

There will be tables for you.  

The registration fee will be the same; prizes will be awarded for winners in the morning session (10- noon) and in the afternoon session (1-3) based on the number of games won during each time period of play.

*Registration and payment required by February 21. No refunds will be given if you are not able to attend.

SPONSORSHIP:

Super Joker level: $500

Flowers level: $250

Dragons level: $100

Sponsors will be acknowledged at the tournament and in the Temple Times. Sponsorship will include entry into the tournament.

What you need to know:

9:30AM - Introduction and review of the rules, with coffee, tea, and snacks provided.

10:00 AM - Play begins. The National Mah Jongg League style of mah jongg will be played. BRING YOUR 2024 CARD WITH YOU!

12:00 PM - Lunch and drawing for raffle prizes.

1:00 PM - Play resumes.

3:00 PM - Play ends. Prizes will be awarded at this time.
